Axiom Ecology is a planning-focused ecological consultancy that combines rigorous field ecology, advanced spatial analysis and deep knowledge of environmental legislation to deliver clear, practical and defensible advice that helps clients navigate biodiversity approvals with confidence.

  • Axiom Ecology is led by Ewan Kelly and Sarah Hilliar, senior ecologists with over a decade of experience in environmental consulting. Ewan and Sarah have previously held senior roles within a large national consultancy, where they led and delivered complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

    Together, they bring deep technical expertise and practical project experience across planning, infrastructure, and strategic assessment contexts. Their experience spans large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy developments, strategic biodiversity certification projects, and detailed site-based assessments supporting local planning approvals.
